Another scientist toss’s in the towel on the Global warming myth?

MAN-MADE global warming is a fraud.
The climate is changing–as it always has.
The guy who started the weather channel thinks man-made global warming is a fraud and is attempting to sue Al Gore for claiming “all scientists agree” man is solely to blame—they don’t. All you got to do is ask.
Also, these same scientists thought we we’re on the verge of an “ice age” during the 70s—-what happened?? (TIME magazine article and everything)
To be clear: man-made global warming IS NOT the same thing as pollution. Pollution man did make and CAN control.

Difficult to see how Evans could have been responsible in 1999 for Australia’s compliance with the Kyoto Protocol since Australia didn’t ratify the Kyoto protocol until 2007.
Evans did work for the Australian Greenhouse Office but not as a climate specialist. By his own admission “I know a heck of a lot about modeling and computers, but I am not a climate modeler.”
He has never published a single paper on climate change and has been attached to the Ludwig von Mises Institute – an extreme right wing thinktank famous for its rejection of anything related to global warming and to the Lavoisier Group – a body set up by the mining industry to attack global warming science.
Presenting this guy as an expert on global warming rather than just another guy who has been bought by the extreme right is either demonstrating real dishonesty or massive ignorance as to the source of your claims.

By the way man produces at least 10x the green house gasses than all of the currently active volcanoes. You may hear some same that man doesn’t even produce what one volcano produces but they are wrong. It is actually much more than 10x a year, This is not my estimation it comes from the United States Geological Survey
If sea temperatures rise just 8 degrees it could lead to the release of methane trapped in the oceans. Which could lead to run away green house effect. If on the other hand melting artic ice causes a shift in the flow of the Gulf Stream it could indeed spawn a new ice age.

well like someone else said australia didnt ratify kyoto till last year when the government changed. still one scientist against the majority of the scientific community. now thats a hrd one who shall i believe.
anyway i just cant understand why people who dont believe have such a problem in removing co2. co2 in large amounts cannot be good for your health. id love too know im breathing clean air instead of dirt. maybe my asthma wouldnt be so bad. the world can function without co2 and energy that doesnt emit it once set up will be cheaper. do you honestly belive gas is going to be $2 forever. give it 10 years and it will be higher, then give it 20. renewable energy will stay at a constant price. still no one against it proposes what we do if it is real. we’re all screwed if thats the case

Well everybody knows that all you have to do is tax the crap out of people and that will end global warming. Say we change everything tomorrow, start riding horses, swear off electricity, heat our homes with our enduring love of Obama, and hug a tree everyday and the earth still takes a dump on us? It’s cyclical and its naive to think that we can do that much to change it. One good eruption from a super volcano such as yellowstone (we’re due by the way) will have hundreds of times more effect on the climate than all the cow farts and hairspray in Blagojevich’s medicine cabinet. I’m not saying start dumping toxic waste in the water supply, just be reasonable.

This discussion needs to stay rooted in science. There is no disagreement in the scientific community that man has sufficiently altered the atmosphere in the last 200 years to affect global climate, and that the main effect is an increase in global mean temperature. The problem, and the area of disagreement among scientists, is in the use of global climate models to predict what will happen in the future. This is obviously important, since public policy is dictated by these predictions.
The primary problem with the models is that they made predictions about trends in the temperature of the troposphere above the tropics that should have been observed, but that do not match the best data we have. Another problem is that global climate models don’t fit the observation that the area of greatest warming has been in the northern latitudes. Given those mismatches, we either don’t have accuate global climate models yet, or the satellite data is flawed, or both. There have been major revisions in the satellite data in the last 10 years, so additional revisions may happen.
Don’t follow guys like David Evans. His argument about ice core data is crap (although he does point out the discrepancy in modeling data and tropical satellite data). If you want a healthy skeptic to follow in this area, follow John Christy at the University of Alabama, Huntsville. He is a major contributor to peer-reviewed scientific publications on global climate, and he is also part of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and so shares Gore’s Nobel Peace Prize, at least a little bit. Here is a paper you should read. If you can’t understand it, don’t spout off about global warming.

Over FIVE HUNDRED scientists (a little more than a handful….) have released studies that directly contradict the man-made Global Warming theory.
Last year the polar ice caps were melting, but not just on Earth! ON MARS AS WELL!
So, riddle me this; If there is global warming on Mars as well, does that mean that there are naughty Hummer driving aliens out there?
Nope. It means that Global Warming is caused by only one thing; THE SUN.
By the way, this year average temperatures have plummeted and the Earth has been getting cooler. The ice caps are coming back. Guess what the ice caps on Mars are doing? Refreezing. I hope people are smart enough to see the correlation here.
