Global Warming- Is it real?
by: STINKYPOOPMANhaha not global warming (we know thats true) but the concept of global warming, andare the CO2 emissions actually having that much of an affect on the earth. does it really have all that much hard core evidence? seems to me like we are freaking ourselves out over something that is not that much of a problem. cuz global warming is really our ‘prediction’ of the future weather patterns of planet earth. if you ask me, there are WAY too many factors to take into account and it is ultamately too complex of a system to track and predict. Im not saying im right, global warming may be a serious problem. but i really dont think theres enough solid evidence. what do you think?

Personally, I am feeling that the earth is much more powerful than we are giving credit. While I know that we do have impact on the environment, I am having a hard time thinking that we are the main reason for the warming that is happening. There is no doubt that things are warming, and I am very happy to hear about alternative fuels and recycling. But I am not sold that we are the sole source for all the worlds woes. Looking throughout history, we see many fluctuations of the weather. I just hope that we are able to move forward with environment friendly technology while not hampering ourselves.

Signs that the earth is warming are recorded all over the globe. The easiest way to see increasing temperatures is through the thermometer records kept over the past century and a half. Around the world, the earth’s average temperature has risen more than 1 degree Fahrenheit (0.8 degrees Celsius) over the last century, and about twice that in parts of the Arctic.
This doesn’t mean that temperatures haven’t fluctuated among regions of the globe or between seasons and times of day. But if you average out the temperature all over the world over the course of a year, you see that temperatures have been creeping upward.

sure, there’s evidence, but it’s not going to significantly put a dent in Earth’s pattern… we just like to fuss and worry over minor things.

The only politicians still saying it is not a serious problem is Larry Craig. Idaho’s favorite son.
