How much trillions of tons of Carbon Dioxide emissions could be eliminated if carbonated drinks were banned ?

by: carbonateddrinkspollutetheairMost soft drinks are carbonated with Carbon Dioxide, which contributes to global warming. Restaurants and bars also use Carbon Dioxide to “push” the concentrated syrup from the “bag in the box” to the soda dispenser, where a check valve releases the CO2 into the atmosphere.

We focus on other sources of CO2 emissions, but world wide, the amount of CO2 purposely produced and released into our atmosphere via carbonated drinks must add up to a lot of emissions also ?

None, you’re just moving the CO2 from one place to another. When you put it in the soda, it has been temporarily moved from somewhere else, and then it gets released.

You don’t have the slightest clue what you’re asking. CO2 is a gas. It weighs almost nothing. It’s the methane that comes out the other end that is the culprit. Cows give off the most methane and they don’t drink carbonated beverages. Good grief! I’ve never heard of anything so bogus. Sheesh!!!!!

I think most of the carbon dioxide from drinks and such comes from the transportation of the stuff, that is the trucks that carry the drinks

I gave up soft drinks, and you can’t blame me.
