What’s the purpose of regulating man made CO2 emissions?

by: NoFlox-Because the governments want to stop “man made Global Warming?

-or because the governments want to start total “GLOBAL control” of every aspect of the world’s economy?

IPCC has been suggesting that developing countries should also comply to CO2 emissions reductions……
should I remind some members the relationship between the UN and the IPPC ? or would they be able to google those words and find out for themselves?
